How to Choose The Best Pension Provider
If you are looking for a new pension provider then the options can be bewildering. How do you decide who will look after your money? What can the difference be in the small print? Who will give you all of the add-ons that you need?
Here are some of our tips for what to look out for when it comes to looking for a pension provider.
Pension Liberation or Early Pension Release
What is Pension Liberation?
Early Pension Release, or Pension Liberation, refers to the process of accessing your pension before the age of 55 years old.
Unlike ISAs, or regular bank offered savings accounts, pensions are long term savings vehicles, designed to be accessed only after the age of 55. Accessing your pension before the age of 55 could result in high charges involving taxation, fees from your pension provider, fees from unscrupulous companies who encourage early pension access or from another source.
How will the 2015 Budget affect our pensions?
With major changes to how the UK pension system works announced in the 2014 Budget, what can we expect from the Chancellor when he stands to deliver his announcement this year, on 18th March?
In an election year, it is likely that the Budget will be used to set out major new policies, but will that include more incentives for pensioners or are the changes from 2014 the only ones here to stay?
In the below document, we take a look not only at pensions, but at everything that could be announced in 2015’s Budget; from our own finances, to the window on the wider economy.
Your Guide to our Free Pension Review
Our completely free, no obligation review of your pension is (unsurprisingly!) extremely popular, but we recognise that many people will want to know more about exactly what happens before they decide to have us carry out the review. You can find out more about what’s involved and what exactly you’ll gain from the review in this document.
